Thomas Gambale has my expressed permission to upload this package in its entirety, including this document, to any freeware web site he choses for the purposes of supporting the US Army Virtual VA. It must still remain freeware and no part of this package may be used for any commercial purpose. This is my gift to the US Army Virtual; good luck, guys, from a Jarhead (75-79, MCAS Cherry Point SAR Swimmer, CH-46A Pedro).

Scenery files created using Groundmaker by Vincent Koch.
My macros made using EOD v2 by Matthias Bruckner. If you want one of them ask.
Tested in MSFS2002 only with terrain mesh (http://www.simviation.com/fsdterrainusa1.htm if you need mesh).

This readme includes the disclaimer and credits, package description, and installation instructions. This scenery set uses some NOVA textures, a separate download if you don't already have them.

Discaimer and Credits:
This is freeware in every sense of the word.

The a few of the textures are mine and they, like all the others, may not be used for any commercial purpose. Except for the Madigan AMC and the barracks buildings, crates, signs, and a few other small pieces the macros aren't mine either. If you need to know whose they are contact me and I'll provide the information. Otherwise don't use them for any purpose, each author's requirements are different.

Deepest gratitude to several folks who's work is included: Jordan Moore, John de Langristin, Jerry Arzdorf, Robert Palmer, Rob Abernathy, Jeremiah Broughton, Paul Harmon, Doc G, Gerd J. Winterfeld, Rafael Garcia Sanchez, Emanuel Dietz, Ray Scott, H Enos, Jim Turner, Peter Leadbeater, John Vrbanic, Han Tilroe, Richard Maxted, Ino Terpstra, John L Fleming, Frank Betts, Ron Vorak, Sholmo Hakim, Vlad Zhyhulskiy, John Fay, Tim Dickens, Jeremiah Broughton, Danny Levin, Cornel Grigoriu, and Horst Weingärtner. There are others but I have only an email address, not a name that allows me to provide credit. If I missed you, let me know and I'll update the credits. These are the real artists.

This package was made for Tom Gamable and the US Army Virtual Command.

If you find an error, drop me a line and let me know.

Installation:

Make a new folder called Gray_AAF. Under that, make two folders, named Scenery and Texture.

FS2002/scenery/Gray_AAF/Scenery
and
FS2002/scenery/Gray_AAF/Texture

All .bgl files (except Novalib.bgl, see below) go into Scenery subfolder and all the rest go into the Texture folder.

Start FS and go into your scenery library menu and add and activate this scenery.

Minimize FS and open the scenery.cfg file found in the main FS2002 directory with a text editor. Scroll to the bottom and locate the Gray_AAF scenery entry, then paste the following directly below the Gray AAF entry:

Exclude=N47 05,W122 32,N47 07,W122 34,all

When done, it should look like this:

[Area.xyz]
Title=Gray_AAF
Local=scenery\Gray_AAF
Remote=
Active=TRUE
Required=FALSE
Layer=xyz
Exclude=N47 05,W122 32,N47 07,W122 34,all

Where xyz = the number in the sequence in your file (they should be the same number).
